*~Rules~*

Here are just a few simple rules that must be followed to participate. You must agree to these rules before you can officially join the board. They're fairly reasonable and must be followed at all times. If you have any questions, concerning these rules, feel free to contact me here.

You must post for your character(s)at least once every day. Please, don't keep others in a scene for days on end. But, feel free to post as much as you like! There's no limit to the number of posts you can or can't post.

Be realistic. This is viewed just as you would normally watch Days on TV.

You can ONLY write for your character! This is important. Because there have been experiences in the past where someone will throw in small things about what someone else's character's reaction would be. Basically, you have to wait for the other person to write it, for you to respond to it. Try to be considerate.

You can't play two characters who are involved in the same storyline together. For example, you couldn't be both Kate and Vivian. It would give too much control to one person. Nothing should be dictated, and it's just not fair to the other players who have other ideas on what they might like to do with the storyline.

You must post for your character. Whether it's "Roman is home, shining his laser boots" is fine. It keeps your character open to other people to respond to. Even if your character isn't involved in a major storyline.

Please, don't use excessive profanity. All words are accepted, but if you do use them, please keep them in context.

Never post in ALL CAPS. This tends to be very annoying and makes the posts harder to read. It also causes headaches and eyestrain. Please, be courtious.

ICQ or IM are required. If you do not have them, please download one.

Remember, that this is just like watching the real show. Things that go on in other scenes, cannot be known by your character unless he/she is told.

You cannot knock out, incarcerate, or kill a character without prior permission from the player. (With the knocking out, for instance, you can't write that "they fall to the floor, unconsious." Only the portrayer of that character can.)

You cannot end an entire storyline in one post. Example: "Sami takes Lucas to court for custody of Will, and she wins," would not be acceptable. You need to give the other party time to respond.

Usually, the posts are written in 3rd party format. "He did this," "She says," "He thought," etc.

Also, this is a private board. Please, don't give out the address of the board to any others. If you know of someone who would like to join, please have them contact either Krista or Leanne via email, ICQ or IM.
